Shawnee Peak is located at 119 Mountain Road, Bridgton, ME. This ski resort a wonderful ski vacation destination for any skier and snowboarder looking for great conditions and facilities to match.

Shawnee has a 1900 foot elevation with a 1300 foot vertical drop that include 239 acres of pure fun skiing and riding. 98% of non gladed skiing terrain is covered by state of a art snowmaking system. 92% of non gladed terrain is groomed nightly, more than 75% of the night skiing terrain is groomed as needed between 2pm and 4pm as part of the "Afternoon Groom" program.

Night Skiing at Shawnee Peak boasts the most night skiing in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. This activity is offered six nights (seven during holiday periods) a week on 19 of 40 trails. During high-traffic times, at 4pm, more than 75% of the night skiing terrain is manicured with the Afternoon Groom.

This region of Maine receives some Epic snow storms. Here's one day when the mountain was dumped on with 2 feet a snow.

Shawnee Peak Ski School is staffed by 125 full & part-time ski and snowboard instructors. Lessons given all day and night! Ages 4-12 in the renowned Childrens Programs - Skiwee, Junior Mountaineers, MiniRiders. Private lessons available from age 3 & up.

Rental Equipment
Shawnee Peak offers Rossignol Cut skis and Elan and Burton snowboards in the base area rental shop. Try the K2 Snowcycle Revolution! Or check out the new Snow Blades! More than 150 Rental Helmets are available for use. Adults and children sizes.

Sportshaus Ski Shop at the base of Shawnee Peak sells Shawnee Peak logowear, limited soft goods, accessories and souvenirs.
Food Service
Shawnee Peak offers two cafeteria style eating areas located in each of its base lodges. In the main base lodge, full table service is available in Blizzard's Pub. Live entertainment and special events in Blizzard's Pub.

Shawnee Peak Ski AreaAt Shawnee Peak is absolutely accessible. From most points south, your trip is almost entirely on the Interstate! Less than one hour from Portland, 1.75 hours from Portsmouth, NH, 2.5 hours from Boston and 20 minutes from North Conway, NH! And because the mountain is open until 9 p.m. on weeknights and 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, you can ski the largest night skiing mountain in New England after work or school.
