Not very many people think of Connecticut and skiing at the same time. Connecticut is home of some great places to ski and snowboard. Even better some of these New England ski areas have night skiing.
Night skiing is a wonderful after school activity. What better place to bring the kids after school as a ski area no matter what the size.
Most of the Connecticut Ski Areas have NASTAR and other clubs and groups for school age children who want to learn and ski.
Small ski areas are not as intimedating as a big resort in northern New England or out west.
